Formed in the winter of 2021, Ollie, Jack & Rich set out to create a band that pushed the limits of speakers everywhere.
PHON by definition, is latin for "a unit of the perceived loudness of sounds"
Since the start the boys have brought together many genres, influenced by many years of experience performing.
Ollie Ridley
Vocals & Guitar
Ollie brings his unique vocal style, ranging from smooth melodies and brutal screams. he is often seen sporting guitars littered with duct tape, which use is made clear when Ollie starts playing. A flurry of screeching and hair accompanies an energy that is unmatched.
Jack Biltcliffe
Bass Guitar
Jack stands out from the bunch with his avant garde approach to bass playing and his many tattoos. from attacking cymbals with his bass and performing headstands mid show. jack is a vital ingredient in this chaotic trio.
Rich Chaudhury
Drummer
Rich is the fear of drum kits everywhere. Fuelling PHON with heavy grooves galore.
From a background of dirty blues, Rich supplies his own approach to classic beats whilst spicing it up with brutal breakdowns you'd expect from genres such as metal.
